Ken Hydon and Judy Sprieser to Retire

Appointment of Andrew Bonfield to the RB Board of Directors
19 March 2018 - Slough, UK - Reckitt Benckiser Group plc (RB), today announces that Ken Hydon and Judy Sprieser have confirmed that they will retire from the Board following the Annual General Meeting on 3 May 2018. As previously announced, Adrian Bellamy will also retire as Chairman and a member of the Board, to be succeeded by Chris Sinclair.
Ken has been a member of the Board since December 2003 and was Chair of the Audit Committee from November 2006 until May 2017. Judy has been a member of the Board since August 2003 and was Chair of the Remuneration Committee from June 2004 until November 2017.
Adrian Bellamy, Chairman, commented: "Ken and Judy have provided extraordinary service to the Board over many years. They have been part of the journey of transformation of RB which has created significant value for shareholders. On behalf of the entire Board, I would like to express my appreciation for their contribution and support to the company. As previously announced, I will also be stepping down from the Board at this year's AGM. It has been my great privilege to lead the Board and I believe that Chris Sinclair will do an excellent job as Chairman in the next phase of RB's transformation."
Andrew Bonfield has been appointed to the Board with effect from 1 July 2018, and will join the Audit Committee at that time. Andrew is currently CFO at National Grid Plc. and has served in that role since 2010. Prior to that, Andrew held roles as CFO at Cadbury Plc, Bristol-Myers Squibb, BG Group plc and SmithKline Beecham plc. He will shortly be stepping down as a non-executive director and Chair of the Audit Committee of Kingfisher plc, where he has served on the Board for eight years.

Chris Sinclair will also join the Corporate Responsibility, Sustainability, Ethics and Compliance Committee of the Board from 1 May 2018.
