Director Shareholding

The Company was today informed that on 3 March 2009 Mr Ion Florescu, a director of the Company, purchased 125,000 ordinary shares of €0.01 each ('Ordinary Shares') at a price of €0.40 per Ordinary Share.

Following this transaction, Mr Ion Florescu is interested in 756,360 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.76% of the total issued share capital of the Company.

It is intended that Mr Florescu will transfer 9,375 of the Ordinary Shares purchased yesterday to a director of New Europe Capital DOO, one of the investment advisers of the Company, and a further announcement will be made in due course.
