Director Shareholding

The Company was today informed that on 9 February 2009 Mr Ion Florescu, a director of the Company, purchased 200,000 ordinary shares of €0.01 each ('Ordinary Shares') at a price of €0.40 per Ordinary Share.

Following this transaction, Mr Ion Florescu is interested in 581,360 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.58% of the total issued share capital of the Company.

It is intended that Mr Florescu will transfer 15,000 of the Ordinary Shares purchased to a director of New Europe Capital DOO, one of the investment advisers of the Company, and a further announcement will be made in due course.
