Reconstruction Capital II Limited (the 'Company')
Placing
Reconstruction Capital II Limited announces that, following the announcement of
9 May 2006 it has raised approximately EUR 40.2m net of expenses by way of a
placing of 40,617,869 new Ordinary Shares of €0.01 each ('Placing') which have
been placed with a number of institutional investors. The shares are due to be
admitted to trading on AIM on or around 23 May 2006.
Use of Proceeds
The proceeds of the Placing will be used to continue to invest in South East
Europe, mainly Romania and Bulgaria. Priority sectors include, amongst others,
branded food products, infrastructure, specialized retail and distribution,
financial services, medical services and real estate development.
Significant Shareholder
Following the Placing, Reichmuth & Co will have a notifiable interest of
9,803,922 ordinary shares (15.1%) in the issued share capital of the Company,
and Alfa Trust Andromeda will have a notifiable interest of 2,020,202 shares
(3.1%) in the share capital of the Company.
