Burkina Faso Exploration Update
Bilbale Project - Mineralisation Confirmed at Second Drill Target

Red Rock Resources Plc ("Red Rock" or "the Company"), the natural resource development company with interests in gold, manganese and base metals, principally in Africa and Australia, announces further to the announcement made on 5th September 2021 the results of second batch of 380 samples (including QAQC) from its recently completed 2022 RC drilling exploration programme in Bilbale in Burkina Faso conducted by the Company's wholly owned subsidiary, Faso Greenstone Resources SARL ("FGR").
Highlights :
Ø Laboratory results from 380 samples from 3 RC holes totalling 358 metres completed at Bilbale artisanal mining site
Ø Samples collected at 1m interval depth and sent with duplicates, standards and blanks for testing at Ouagadougou laboratory of SGS Burkina SA
Ø BilR22-05 drillhole, results included:
o 11m at 0.26 g/t gold from 42 metres depth, including 2m at 0.5 g/t
o 4m at 0.77 g/t from 68 metres depth, including 1m at 2.68 g/t gold from 70 metres depth
Ø Ground geophysics will now be carried out and will be followed by further drill testing in a later programme
Red Rock Chairman Andrew Bell comments : "As Red Rock through its Australian gold joint venture began in December to drill for extensions of the old Berringa Mines in Victoria, further results from the Company's Autumn drilling of gold prospects in Burkina Faso were coming through.
In Burkina Faso, the initial scout drilling programme of seven holes across two locations in the extremely promising Bilbale licence produced, in the first phase at the Djikologo target, gold intersections in three of the four holes drilled, with three relatively high grade intersections in the BilR22-03 drillhole including 20m at 3.19 g/t gold from 22m depth.
This second phase intersected gold mineralisation in two of the three holes at the Bilbale artisanal area, but at more modest tenors. As we emphasise in early stage drilling, we are drilling at that point for structure and not grade, and any intersections over 1 g/t show we are in mineralisation and so are positive.
The results obtained across the two prospects from a small programme that, to meet spend commitments on an acquired licence, had been accelerated and so had not been preceded by any detailed geochemical and geophysical preparation, were good. The next stage will be some ground geophysics in preparation for further drilling."
Additional Information
The assets are held by Faso Greenstone Resources SARL ("FGR"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Faso Minerals Limited, which itself is currently wholly owned by Red Rock.
FGR is a company targeting the next significant gold discovery in Burkina Faso. FGR has consolidated two prospective project areas in the south-west of the country.
The licenses are situated in the south-west of Burkina Faso in the Boromo and Banfora greenstone belts.
Note: where rock geochemistry results are shown below or in the accompanying figures, these are rock chip samples chosen by the geologist on the ground not according to any systematic grid but because the rocks looked interesting. Rock chip sample results may indicate the presence of in situ or transported auriferous material at surface, and so are useful in early stage exploration, but provide no indication of extent or grade of any nearby mineralisation. Where historic results are shown, these have not been independently verified by the Company and are not to be relied upon, but have helped identify areas of interest.
Bilbale - Summary
With a surface of 183.62 km², the Bilbale project area is located in the prolific Boromo greenstone belt.
The region is a major gold producing district. The Gaoua gold deposit (4.4 Moz) is located 50 km to the south, and the Poura gold mine (3 Moz) is located 70 km to the north. The Wa gold deposit (>1 Moz) in Ghana is located 50 km to the south and the Konkera gold deposit (3.3 Moz) of Ampella Mining is located 110 Km to the south.
There is an extensive presence of artisanal gold working sites on the permit area.
Rock chip sampling in 2020 included samples reported at 8.1 g/tAu, 6.25 g/tAu, 2.57 g/tAu, 2.56 g/tAu, 1.74 g/t Au, and 1.19 g/tAu.
Historical geophysical airborne survey by Sarama Mining Burkina (2011) revealed curved faults and shear zones, N-S trending, through the entire permit.

In 2022 the Company conducted mapping of the Bilbale Artisanal Area site, and rock geochemistry over some target areas, with 108 samples taken, together with termite mound sampling at the Bilbale Artisanal Area site, where 29 samples were taken, including:

The Drill Programme
The drilling was conducted under the supervision of FGR geologists by Forage Orbit Garant BF SAS with a reverse circulation drill and comprised a programme of four holes totalling 420 metres at the first location, Djikologo, and three holes (listed in Table 2 below) totalling 358 metres at the second location, Bilbale Artisanal Area.
