Update on Drilling at Bilbale, Burkina Faso
Near Surface Gold Intercept of 20 Metres at 3.19 g/t

Red Rock Resources Plc. ("Red Rock" or "the Company"), the natural resource development company with interests in gold and base metals announces, further to the announcements of 6 January 2022 and 5 August 2022 progress and partial results from the reverse circulation ("RC") drill programme conducted by the Company's wholly owned subsidiary, Faso Greenstone Resources SARL ("FGR"), at the Bilbale licence in the south-west of Burkina Faso.
Highlights :
Ø 7 hole RC drill programme totalling 778 metres completed at Bilbale
Ø Samples collected at 1m interval depths and sent with duplicates, standards and blanks for testing at Ouagadougou laboratory of SGS Burkina SA
Ø Results from 447 samples from 4 hole programme at Djikologo target received from laboratory
Ø At the BilR22-03 drillhole, best results included:
o 20m at 3.19 g/t gold from 22 metres depth, including 3m at 8.17 g/t and 5m at 4.66 g/t
o 8m at 2.28 g/t gold from 62 metres depth, including 3m at 4.72 g/t
o 2m at 1.25 g/t gold from 118m to end of hole (hole ended in mineralisation)
Ø At the BilR22-01 drillhole, results included:
o 9m at 0.37 g/t gold from 6 metres depth, including 3m at 0.78 g/t from 12 metres depth
Ø Results from a further 378 samples from 3 hole programme at Bilbale Artisanal Area target are awaited
Ø Ground geophysics will now be carried out and will be followed by further drill testing in a later programme
Red Rock Chairman Andrew Bell comments : "After acquisition of the Bilbale licence, some geochemistry and mapping was carried out and then we moved directly to scout drilling in order to meet the licence's spending obligations as renewal was approaching.
No ground geophysics was carried out, and we had to be guided by the pattern of previous artisanal activity and by the limited and large scale airborne geophysics in selecting the location of our drill holes.
Given these limitations, that three holes of our first four drilled encountered gold and one intersected three gold mineralised zones including a high grade zone near surface is a happy circumstance, and offers great encouragement for the next stages of drilling which will follow detailed ground geophysics.
A further ten to twelve targets at Bilbale are not yet tested by drilling, including three or four identified, through our surface sampling and from some limited rock exposure, as very prospective, especially some in the south of the licence. Highly prospective targets at our other licence, Boulon, also remain untested by drilling.
We believe we have an exceptional portfolio of opportunities within our Burkina Faso licences. It was put together after a rigorous and comprehensive screening of all opportunities within the country, made possible by the depth of experience of our personnel, and the geological knowledge they brought to bear.
These first results are better than we could have expected, and if replicated in future holes, could lead to the declaration of an economic discovery.
At the corporate level, we plan to raise external capital for our subsidiary Faso Minerals Ltd to accelerate the progress of the Burkina Faso assets towards a planned independent listing.
We expect to follow a similar pathway with our Cote d'Ivoire subsidiary, which will be the subject of later announcements".
Additional Information
The assets are held by Faso Greenstone Resources SARL ("FGR"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Faso Minerals Limited, which itself is currently wholly owned by Red Rock.
FGR is a company targeting the next significant gold discovery in Burkina Faso. FGR has consolidated two prospective project areas in the south-west of the country.
The licenses are situated in the south-west of Burkina Faso in the Boromo and Banfora greenstone belts.
Bilbale - Summary
With a surface of 183.62 km², the Bilbale project area is located in the prolific Boromo greenstone belt.
The region is a major gold producing district. The Gaoua gold deposit (4.4 Moz) is located 50 km to the south, and the Poura gold mine (3 Moz) is located 70 km to the north. The Wa gold deposit (>1 Moz) in Ghana is located 50 km to the south and the Konkera gold deposit (3.3 Moz) of Ampella Mining is located 110 Km to the south.
There is an extensive presence of artisanal gold working sites on the permit area.
Rock chip sampling in 2020 included samples reported at 8.1 g/tAu, 6.25 g/tAu, 2.57 g/tAu, 2.56 g/tAu, 1.74 g/t Au, and 1.19 g/tAu.
Historical geophysical airborne survey by Sarama Mining Burkina (2011) revealed curved faults and shear zones, N-S trending, through the entire permit.

Earlier in 2022 the Company conducted mapping of the Bilbale Artisanal Area site, rock geochemistry over some target areas, with 108 samples taken, and termite mound sampling at the Bilbale Artisanal Area site, where 29 samples were taken, including:

Red Rock has paid 25m CFA to the vendors and will make further payments each year until it (a) chooses to terminate its involvement, or (b) licence expiry, or (c) incorporation of a joint venture company for mineral production in which it will hold 80%.
The Drill Programme
The drilling was conducted under the supervision of FGR geologists by Forage Orbit Garant BF SAS with a reverse circulation drill and comprised a programme of four holes totalling 420 metres at the first location, Djikologo, and three holes totalling 358 metres at the second location, Bilbale Artisanal Area.

Boulon - Summary
Surrounded by a number of artisanal gold mining sites, and also crossed by several contrasting geological structures, the Boulon project (164.28 km²), is proving to be an area of great gold potential; as evidenced by the results of historical Reverse Circulation and diamond drilling on the neighbouring projects of Labola (intersections of 7m@12g/tAu, 10m@3.3g/tAu, 9m@7.7g/tAu) and Danfora (intersections of 14m@2.93g/tAu, 2m@9.45g/tAu, 5m@3.98g/tAu).
Historical work by previous companies shows a large and consistent soil geochemical anomaly of Arsenic, measuring 16 x 3 km, oriented NE-SW which crosses the western part of the project.
There are a number of artisanal gold working sites on the permit area.
FGR has in 2022 collected 13 rock samples on the licences, and the laboratory has reported grades of 3.68 g/t, 2.67 g/t, 0.28 g/t and 0.14 g/t on four of these.
Red Rock has paid 17.5m CFA to the vendors and will pay a like amount on completion of the regulatory formalities for transfer and the issue of the Arrêté.
