Redrow plc announces that on 12 September 2002, the Company has been notified of
the following changes in the interests of directors in the ordinary shares of
10p each in Redrow plc.



Mr P L Pedley on 12 September 2002 exercised options under the 1998/99 Long Term
Share Incentive Plan over 59,584 ordinary shares of 10p each in Redrow plc.
This increases Mr P L Pedley's beneficial interest in the ordinary shares of 10p
each in Redrow plc to 809,584.



Mr P L Pedley on 12 September 2002 sold 209,584 ordinary shares of 10p each in
Redrow plc at 285p leaving Mr P L Pedley with a beneficial interest in the
ordinary shares of 10p each in Redrow plc of 600,000 shares.



In addition to the beneficial interest in 600,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in
Redrow plc, Mr P L Pedley has interests in share options over a further 356,003
ordinary shares of 10p each bringing his combined beneficial interest and
interests in share options to 956,003 ordinary shares of 10p each in Redrow plc.
