On 19 December 2003 Redrow plc ('Redrow') was advised that Mr Neil Fitzsimmons
(a director of Redrow) has exercised his option to buy 5,783 Redrow 10p ordinary
shares under the 2000 Halifax Save As You Earn Scheme at the option price of one
pound thirty four pence (£1.34) which brings his beneficial holding in Redrow to
71,587 shares.
