Redrow plc - Directorate Change

The Board of Redrow plc ("Redrow") is pleased to announce the appointment of Barbara Richmond as Group Finance Director with effect from 18 January 2010.

Barbara brings with her a proven track record, with over a decade of experience as Group Finance Director of a number of UK listed companies. She was until recently Group Finance Director of Inchcape plc, the automotive distributor and retailer, a role she held for more than three years. Prior to joining Inchcape, Barbara was the Group Finance Director of Croda International PLC, the global specialty chemicals company, and before that of Whessoe plc, the engineering and electronics business. She has a strong background in both manufacturing and retail as well as experience of corporate transactions - having completed a number of major acquisitions and disposals throughout her career - and refocusing businesses. Barbara succeeds David Arnold, whose departure was announced in December, and who will step down after a brief handover period.
