Redrow Group plc hereby announces that on 3rd July 2000 Mr P L Pedley, Chief
Executive, exercised options over 50,000 shares at an option price of £1.26
under the Employees Share Option Scheme and exercised on the 4th July 2000
52,086 shares under the Long Term Share Incentive Plan.  On the 4th July 2000
Mr Pedley sold the exercised shares totalling 102,086 shares at a price of
£1.76 leaving him with a beneficial interest in 750,000 shares and 123,411
shares in the Long Term Share Incentive Plan.
