HOLDING IN COMPANY

Redrow plc have today received notification from Fidelity Investments that the
notifiable interest of Fidelity International Limited (FIL) and Mr Edward C
Johnson 3d (a principle shareholder of Fidelity International Limited)
constitutes 7.95% of the issued share capital of Redrow plc following a decrease
of their shareholding by 84,280 ordinary shares to 12,584,464.
