It is with much sadness that Redrow advises that Robert Jones who was a Director
of the Company for nearly 10 years and was Chairman from October 2000 until his
retirement on 30 March 2007, has passed away.



Robert had battled against serious ill-health for the last few years and those
who knew him admired the strength and fortitude with which he faced his illness.
The Board of Redrow plc offers its condolences to Jenny, his wife, and the
rest of Robert's family.  Our thoughts are with them at this time.
