Appointment of Company Lawyer, change of Company Secretary
and Relocation of Head Office
Renew is pleased to announce that it has appointed Ben Feather as Company Lawyer
and Company Secretary, with effect from 3 September 2007. Ben, aged 36, joins
Renew from HBOS plc where he was the corporate solicitor for their Retail
Division. Whilst at HBOS, he advised on a number of strategic transactions,
including acquisitions, major joint ventures and flotations. Ben qualified as a
solicitor in 1995 and was previously a senior associate in the corporate finance
team of Addleshaw Goddard in Leeds, specialising in M&A and private equity
transactions.
The Company also announces that it will relocate its head office to Aberford,
near Leeds, on 1 August 2007. As part of the corresponding reorganisation of
the Group head office function, Catherine Wright will resign as Company
Secretary on 31 July 2007. The Board would like to thank Catherine for her hard
work over the last several years. John Samuel, Group Finance Director, will take
on the role of Company Secretary from 1 August 2007 until 3 September 2007.
