Sandvika, March 16, 2010: REC Silicon today hosts an investor field-trip to its
facilities in Moses Lake, Washington, including executive presentations followed
by a tour of the new Fluidized Bed Reactor (FBR) plant.
REC Silicon executives will present an overview of the REC Silicon products, an
update on technology developments, and provide the company`s perspective on
market developments. An update on the FBR and silane gas plants and future
production targets will also be included. Additional financial information
including revenue compositions will be presented for the first time.
REC Silicon has a strong competitive position, building on a broad range of
products including solar grade, float zone, and electronic grade polysilicon in
addition to silane gas. Product diversity, growing end markets and now the
demonstrated advantages of FBR material, provide a solid base for the future.
