In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14R, Shanks Group plc notifies that Non-executive director, Jacques Petry, joins the Board of Sechilienne Sidec, a company listed on the Paris stock exchange, as its Chairman and CEO with effect from 29 October 2011. Sechilienne Sidec is an independent energy producer specialising in electricity generation in medium-sized coal/biomass, photovoltaic and wind power plants.
