PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF WASTE MANAGEMENT NEDERLAND BV
Further to this morning's announcement of the proposed acquisition of Waste
Management Nederland BV, Shanks Group now announces that, following an active
tender, the 21,134,000 ordinary shares to be issued in connection with the
acquisition have been successfully placed by Hoare Govett Limited at a strike
price of 175p per share, determined through an accelerated book build process.
The shares were placed with a wide range of institutions.
