Appointment of Non-Executive Director

RentGuarantor (AQSE: RGG), a provider of rent guarantee services to prospective tenants across the socio-economic spectrum wishing to rent property in the UK private rental sector, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Cliff to the Board as Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

David Cliff is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Bristol, a post he has held since 2007. Prior to that, he held professorial faculty posts at the University of Southampton, and at the MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. He also spent seven years working in cutting-edge technology research for Hewlett-Packard Labs, and previously held a position at Deutsche Bank London ("Deutsche") where he was a Director/Trader in Deutsche's Foreign Exchange Complex Risk team.

David Cliff is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, Institute of Mathematics and its Applications, and the Royal Society of Arts. In addition to his teaching and research at the University of Bristol, David is a member of the Data Analytics Academic Advisory Board for the Financial Conduct Authority. David has also served as a senior advisor on automated trading and artificial intelligence in financial markets to the UK Government Office for Science and other Government departments. He has been an expert witness in a number of major civil and criminal cases concerning intellectual property in automated trading systems.
