    RENTOKIL INITIAL MAKES FURTHER DISPOSAL FOR £21M

Rentokil  Initial announces that it has  agreed  to  sell
Initial  Redispace & Johnson, its portable  accommodation
business to Davis Service Group for £21 million in cash.

In  1999 Initial Redispace & Johnson had turnover of  £16
million and operating profits of £3 million.

This  sale brings the proceeds to date on sales  of  non-
core  businesses to £537 million well in  line  with  the
target proceeds of at least £600 million.
