RENTOKIL INITIAL PLC - INTERIM DIVIDEND 2000

Please note that, as already mentioned in the AGM statement released on 9th May
2000, the board of directors of Rentokil Initial plc has decided that the
interim results for 2000 will be announced on Wednesday, 30th August 2000.  This
amends the timetable for the year 2000 half year results contained in the
financial calendar included in the company's Report and Accounts 1999.

The timetable for 2000 interim dividend will accordingly now be as follows:-
