Rentokil Initial plc - Extension of Offer Period of Offer to
Ratin A/S shareholders

The offer period of the offer for exchange of shares (the
'Offer') by Rentokil Initial plc ('Rentokil Initial') to the
shareholders of Ratin A/S, which was made on 30 March 2000,
expires today at 4 p.m. (Danish time).

To give shareholders in Ratin A/S, who have bought their
shares in Ratin A/S during the last three days, the
opportunity to accept the Offer, Rentokil Initial hereby
announces that Rentokil Initial in accordance with the terms
of the Offer has decided to extend the offer period until 29
May 2000, 4. p.m. (Danish time).  Rentokil Initial reserves
the right to further extend the offer period.

All other terms and conditions of the Offer remain unchanged.

Shareholders who have already accepted the Offer should not
take any further action.
