Further to the announcement released on 14 March 2001 RNS Number 4124A in
relation to purchase of own shares for Rentokil Initial PLC, it should be
noted that the purchase was for 1,435,000 Ordinary shares of 1p each at 202p
and not 1,450,000, as previously stated. Amended announcement noted below.
