The Board of Reliance Security Group plc ('Reliance' or the 'Company')
announces that it was today informed that certain directors of Reliance were
awarded options over ordinary 5p shares in the Company on 2 July 2001,
pursuant to an Executive Share Option Scheme. The details of the awards are as
