                            Appointment of Director

The Board of City Centre Restaurants plc is pleased to announce the appointment
of Trish Corzine, aged 46, to the Board with immediate effect.

Trish has worked for City Centre since 1993 with a number of different
responsibilities.  She began in 1993 as an Area Manager for Garfunkels which
encompassed City Centre's airport operations.  In March 1996 she was given sole
responsibility for the airport's business and was Operations Manager Heathrow
and Gatwick.  Subsequently in 1997 she was appointed Brand Director Garfunkels
and Airports and in 1999 was promoted to Operations Director - Concessions, City
Centre's new division encompassing airport operations.  In March 2003 she was
appointed Managing Director Concessions.

Prior to joining City Centre she worked at Haagen Daz then managed a restaurant
group, Atacama Group, which had four restaurants.

In accordance with paragraph 16.4 of The Listing Rules she has not been a
director of any other publicly quoted company in the last 5 years and there is
no information to be disclosed under paragraphs 6.F.2 (b) to (g).
