RTS NETWORKS GROUP PLC ('RTS NetWorks' or 'the Company')
MR J-P MATTILA
The board of RTS NetWorks announces that Mr J-P Mattila, Non-executive Deputy
Chairman of the Company, has voluntarily tendered his resignation to the board
and that it has been accepted. This follows the receipt of the judgement of
the Court of Appeal in Finland in connection with the Notareal Oy case, in
which the Court has found against Mr Mattila on a number of counts and
reversed certain judgements previously given in his favour. The events giving
rise to the Notareal case occurred in the period to 1991, prior to his
involvement with the Company and were disclosed in the AIM admission document
dated 30 November 1999.
The Company understands that Mr Mattila has applied for leave to appeal
against these judgements.
