Closure of subsidiary

RTS Networks Group PLC ('RTS Networks' or 'the Company')

RTS Networks today announces that the Board of Directors of its wholly owned
subsidiary, RTSe, Inc. decided to cease operations in the USA ('RTSe USA') with
immediate effect. As at 31 December 2000, the last date for which audited
results are available, RTSe USA had net liabilities of US$4,305,250 and made a
loss of US$1,207,281 during that year. Trading conditions were extremely
difficult for RTSe USA during 2001 and losses continued. RTSe USA has 7
employees.


The Group has retained the intellectual property rights to the software
developed by RTSe USA.
