Radstone Technology PLC (the "Company")
The Company was informed on 4 July, 2002 that the Trustees of the Radstone
Technology PLC All Employee Share Ownership Plan (the "Trust"), have today
purchased 3,646 ordinary shares of 12.5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares")
at a price of £2.51 per share. Following this purchase the Trust now holds
58,965 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.25% of the issued ordinary share capital
of the Company.
All employees of the Company, including the executive directors, are potential
beneficiaries of the Trust.
In addition the Company has today been informed that Radstone Technology
Employee Trust ("Employee Trust") purchased 28,303 Ordinary Shares and 580
Ordinary Shares, on 17 June 2002, at a price of £2.53 and £2.51 per share
respectively. Following this the Employee Trust holds 141,958 Ordinary Shares
representing 0.60% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. The
shares are held in trust on the employees, including directors, of the Company's
behalf for a period of three years from award during which time their right to
ownership is lost should they leave the Company.
