                    Radstone Technology PLC (the "Company")


The Company was informed on 2 September 2002 that the Trustees of the Radstone
Technology PLC All Employee Share Ownership Plan (the "Trust"), had purchased
3,942 ordinary shares of 12.5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a
price of £2.41 per share on 2 September 2002. Following this purchase the Trust
now holds 64,987 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.27 per cent. of the issued
ordinary share capital of the Company.

All employees of the Company, including the executive directors, are potential
beneficiaries of the Trust.
