                    Radstone Technology PLC (the "Company")


The Company was informed on 7 August, 2002 that the Trustees of the Radstone
Technology PLC All Employee Share Ownership Plan (the "Trust"), had purchased
3,160 ordinary shares of 12.5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a
price of £2.50 per share on 7 August, 2002. Following this purchase the Trust
now holds 61,045 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.26% of the issued ordinary
share capital of the Company.


All employees of the Company, including the executive directors, are potential
beneficiaries of the Trust.
