                    Radstone Technology PLC (the "Company")
                               Holding in Company

The Company was informed on 13 April 2004 that the Trustee of the Radstone
Technology PLC Share Incentive Plan (the "Trust"), purchased 2,714 ordinary
shares of 12.5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of £3.841 per
share on 7 April 2004. Following this purchase the Trust now holds 119,659
Ordinary Shares, representing 0.43% of the issued ordinary share capital of the
Company.

All employees of the Company, including the executive directors, are potential
beneficiaries of the Trust.
