The Company has today issued 567,314 ordinary shares of 10 90/91 pence each of
the Company, following the exercise of share options under a Savings Related
Share Option Scheme (SAYE) at a price of 245 pence per share.  The shares were
admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the
London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities by way of block listing as
announced on 23 May 2005.



Following the above, the Company has in issue a total of 43,881,382 ordinary
shares of 10 90/91 pence each.
