Completion of share buyback programme

 

RHI Magnesita announces the completion of its share buyback programme of up to €50 million, managed by Barclays Bank Ireland PLC, which commenced on 5 May 2021 and ended on 4 August 2021.

Over the course of the buyback programme, 1,008,979 ordinary shares ("shares") were repurchased for a total consideration of €49,999,174 at an average price of 4254 pence per share. The shares repurchased represent 2.1% of the Company's issued share capital excluding treasury shares prior to the commencement of the buyback programme. All of the shares purchased in the buyback programme have been placed in treasury and the Company now holds a total of 2,478,686 shares in treasury.

The Board will continue to evaluate the potential for additional share buyback programmes to further enhance shareholder returns, after taking into account market conditions and the Group's wider capital allocation priorities.
