The Company announces that on 4 March 2008 Stephen Parker, an executive director
of Ricardo plc, exercised an approved share option over 16,085 ordinary shares
in Ricardo plc ('Shares') and an unapproved option over 33,915 Shares both
granted under the Company's 1994 Executive Share Option Scheme. The Shares were
allocated accordingly on the same day and the price paid was £1.865 per Share.
This represents a holding acquired of 0.1%.
33,533 of these Shares were then sold on that date at a price of £3.45 per Share
to meet the aggregate exercise price of the exercise of the options and tax and
national insurance contributions arising. The remaining number of Shares were
retained by Stephen Parker.
Stephen Parker's holding following notification is 103,213 Shares, being 0.2% of
the Company's issued share capital. In addition, he has conditional awards and
share options outstanding over 237,731 Shares being 0.47% of the Company's
issued share capital.
