Ricardo plc announces today that Executive Director Steve Parker has resigned from the board and left the company with effect from 23 July 2009.

The Board of Ricardo plc offers their thanks to Steve for his contribution to the company over the past 7 years, in particular for taking the strategic consulting business from start up to an established player competing with the very best in the world. In recent times Steve developed a suitable successor to take over the consulting business to allow him to devote his skills towards the development of Ricardo's Clean Energy business. During his time with Ricardo Steve fully supported the development and implementation of the global diversification strategy, which has enabled Ricardo to prosper in recent times and ride through the current economic world conditions.

The Board of Ricardo plc wishes Steve the best of success in his future ventures.
