                   Rightmove plc - Transaction in own shares

Rightmove plc ('Rightmove'), the UK's no. 1 property website, announces that on
8 November 2007 it purchased 100,000 of its 1p ordinary shares at a volume
weighted average price paid per share of 574p. The highest and lowest price paid
per share was 574p. Rightmove purchased these shares via Numis Limited.

Rightmove has purchased 1,120,536 of its own shares since announcing the second 
tranche of its share buy-back programme on 3 September 2007. The shares 
purchased have been transferred into treasury. Following the above purchase, 
Rightmove holds 2,839,374 shares in treasury.

The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) at the
date of this announcement is 129,849,987.
