A Board meeting to consider the supplementary capital and preference dividends
for the above company was held at the registered address on 27th November 2007.

The rate for the Supplementary Capital dividend is 68.6829p per Capital share
payable on 2nd January 2008 to shareholders on the register as at 7th December
2007.

The rate for the Preference dividend is 5.5p per Preference share payable on 2nd
January 2008 to shareholders on the register as at 7th December 2007.
