A Board meeting to consider the supplementary capital and preference dividends
for the above company was held at the registered address on 24th November 2005.

The rate for the Supplementary Capital dividend is 56.0732p per Capital share
payable on 2nd January 2006 to shareholders on the register as at 2nd December
2005.

The rate for the Preference dividend is 5.5p per Preference share payable on 2nd
January 2006 to shareholders on the register as at 2nd December 2005.
