Rio Tlnto Dividend Reinvestment Plan ('DRP')
Rio Tinto plc offers a Dividend Reinvestment Plan that gives shareholders the
opportunity to use their cash dividends to buy Rio Tinto plc shares in the
market. The Plan is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services
Authority.
On 10 September 2007, Rio Tinto plc was notified that, on 6 September
2007 in London, the following directors of the Company each acquired ordinary
shares under the Rio Tinto Dividend Reinvestment Plan at a price of £36.52 per
