Further to the announcement regarding the appointment of Mr Rick Sopher as a non-executive director of RIT Capital Partners plc on 2^nd December 2010, the information below is disclosed to complete the disclosure of his directorships held in publicly quoted companies.

Mr Sopher's current overseas public company directorships are as follows:

LCH Investments NV, the corporate Managing Director of Leveraged Capital Holdings NV

LCH Investments NV, the corporate Managing Director of Trading Capital Holdings NV

European Capital Holdings

The shares of each of the above companies are listed on the Euronext Amsterdam Exchange.

Mr Sopher was a Director of Asian Capital Holdings, a company listed on the Euronext Amsterdam Exchange, until 16 June 2008.

Other than the above, there are no other disclosable overseas public company directorships held in the previous five years.

As disclosed in the announcement on 2 December 2010, Mr Sopher is not currently a director of any other UK publicly quoted companies and there are no past directorships of UK public companies held in the past five years.
