The effect of the changes in the composition of beneficiaries of the relevant Rothschild family trusts will be to reduce Mr Nathaniel Rothschild's beneficial interest in the ordinary share capital of RIT Capital Partners plc to 4,185,874 £1 ordinary shares.

There has been no change in either the overall beneficial interests of the Rothschild family in the £1 ordinary shares of RIT Capital Partners plc, or the interests of Lord Rothschild.
