RM confirmed as ICT provider for Barking and Dagenham BSF programme

RM confirms that it has reached financial close on a £4.5m contract to provide ICT products and services for the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham's Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme. RM previously announced on 22 June 2010 that it had been selected as preferred bidder for the contract.

Barking and Dagenham's BSF programme will renew two schools. RM will provide a wide range of ICT products and services, including classroom systems, interactive classroom technology, curriculum software, Community Connect 4 networking, wireless networking and VOIP telephony. These will be backed up by a comprehensive support service and a continuing professional development programme.

Terry Sweeney, Chief Executive of RM, said:

"We've worked with Barking and Dagenham for a long time, so it's great news to have been able to reach financial close on their BSF sample schools. We look forward to working with the teachers and pupils in these two schools to deliver exciting and engaging learning technology."
