The RM stand is D50 / E50. RM Community Connect 3 RM Community Connect 3 is RM's new educationally-focused network for secondary schools based upon Windows XP. In secondary schools ICT networks play an increasingly critical role in both the delivery of the curriculum and the management of the school. RM Community Connect 3 has been designed, from the ground up, to support a much more flexible application of ICT within secondary schools and their wider community - community learners, feeder schools, other secondary schools and the local authority RM Window Box XP This is the most flexible RM Window Box to date and the most tailored for the needs of primary education. Since the first RM Window Box was developed ten years ago, it has become by far the most popular and widely used computer in primary classrooms and is used in over 50 per cent of UK primary schools. The latest version, based on Windows XP, combines ease of use and security with an unprecedented level of flexibility. MathsAlive! MathsAlive! is the new subscription service for secondary schools that provides interactive content and teaching tools to teach Key Stage 3 Mathematics. MathsAlive! works with the latest technology, including interactive whiteboards and specialist software, to engage and motivate pupils and to help teachers teach. LearningAlive! RM will be previewing its ICTAlive! service for primary schools and also showing how the Alive! concept can be extended to other subjects by demonstrating its potential in French and Science RM Store Box RM Store Box allows multimedia CD ROMs and centrally stored work to be shared and accessed from any computer with ease. Teachers can share images, worksheets and files with pupils via handout folders and with colleagues in a secure work area, much like schools can do with more sophisticated networks. Following the recent launch of RM Store Box South Lanarkshire Council has placed an order, worth £800,000, for over one hundred of their primary schools to have RM Store Box installed over the next eight months. RM SmartCache RM SmartCache is a server that sits on a school's network and makes access to the Internet faster. This allows schools to make much more effective use of their Internet bandwidth, especially when carrying out whole-class activities. Schools that have trialled RM SmartCache have seen significant improvement in the speed of access to the Internet. RM SmartTracker SmartTracker is a powerful new solution for tracking Internet use on school networks. Designed to be used on the RM SmartCache platform, RM SmartTracker provides auditing facilities that enable the network manager to identify key user behaviour on the web, individual usage patterns and inappropriate web use. SuccessMaker Enterprise SuccessMaker Enterprise builds on the success of SuccessMaker which is now found in one in three secondary schools. The new version retains all of the existing features, including the individual learning reports but also includes revamped graphics and reports that are easier and faster for both teachers and parents to use. RM ClassBoard The RM ClassBoard is a new interactive whiteboard that is intuitive and easy to use for whole-class teaching. This is a tough and robust interactive whiteboard that uses electromagnetic technology and is almost impossible to damage or mark. Softease Following RM's acquisition of Softease in October 2001 the Group will be demonstrating the first fully integrated computer solution utilising the latest version of Softease's Textease Studio software
