RM plc: C2K programme update
RM's Community Connect range of ICT infrastructure products is to be supplied to
primary schools in Northern Ireland as part of a broader managed ICT service to
be provided by Northgate Information Solutions. Northgate has announced today
that it has been appointed preferred bidder for the contract, which is part of
Northern Ireland's C2K programme. RM will provide Community Connect as a
subcontractor to Northgate.
Commenting on the decision, Tim Pearson, CEO of RM, said:
'The Community Connect suite of products is already used in all of Northern
Ireland's post-primary schools, where it was provided as part of an earlier
phase of the C2K project. Its selection for primary schools means that RM's
network and infrastructure intellectual property will be a core part of C2K's
managed ICT service for all schools in Northern Ireland.'
