                      RM plc - Directors' Share Purchases


RM plc has been informed that the following Directors purchased shares in the
Company today.

John Leighfield, Chairman, bought 2,000 2p ordinary shares at a price of 187p
per share.  His beneficial holding now stands at 150,000 2p ordinary shares,
which represents 0.16% of the issued share capital of the Company.

Sherry Coutu, Senior Non-Executive Director, bought 6,500 2p ordinary shares at
a price of 187p per share.  Her beneficial holding now stands at 50,816 2p
ordinary shares, which represents 0.06% of the issued share capital of the
Company.

Tim Brighouse, Non-Executive Director, bought 4,000 2p ordinary shares at a
price of 187p per share.  His beneficial holding now stands at 10,000 2p
ordinary shares, which represents 0.01% of the issued share capital of the
Company.
