RM confirmed as ICT provider for London Borough of Ealing BSF programme

RM, the international education company, confirms that it has reached financial close on a £5.0m contract to provide ICT systems and services for the London Borough of Ealing's Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme. The systems and services will be provided as part of the Balfour Beatty Education consortium, which has been appointed to deliver Ealing's BSF programme. RM previously announced on 19 April 2010 that it had been selected as preferred bidder for the contract.

The London Borough of Ealing's BSF programme covers two secondary schools. RM will provide a comprehensive range of ICT products and services, including Community Connect 4 networking, computing devices, interactive classroom technology, wireless infrastructure, software and continuing support.

Terry Sweeney, Chief Executive of RM, said:

"I'm pleased that we are continuing to bring the remaining 'preferred bidder' BSF projects to financial close. We have established an excellent relationship with Balfour Beatty Education and it's a great outcome to be working on another project with them. I am confident that, working together, we will provide inspiring new learning spaces that will really make a difference for learners and teachers in Ealing."
