RM chosen for Government data services contract

RM has been awarded a £3m, four-year contract to provide data services for the Tenant Services Authority (TSA), the regulator for social housing. The contract will be delivered by the Group's Assessment and Data division.

RM will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing the National Register of Social Housing (NROSH), a national database containing detailed information about four million properties across England. The project includes collecting data from 1,500 housing associations and 150 local authorities, checking and collating this data, and providing reporting and data analysis tools. NROSH will be used by the TSA, and other stakeholders, to inform research, policy making and investment decisions.

Terry Sweeney, Chief Executive of RM, said:

"RM has developed significant expertise in providing complex and innovative public-sector data services. The NROSH project builds on the skills and experience we have developed delivering these kinds of services for other government departments."
