                           RM plc: Directorate change

RM announces that Sherry Coutu, Senior Independent Director and Chair of the
Remuneration Committee will stand down from the Group's Board on 28 October,
having completed three terms as a Non-Executive Director. She will continue her
affiliation with the group via the Advisory Council which is chaired by Sir Mike
Tomlinson.

John Leighfield, Chairman of RM, said:

'Sherry's wisdom and guidance have been much valued by all her colleagues at RM
and we will miss her. On behalf of everyone at RM, I would like to thank Sherry
for her major contribution to the Group's development. I'm very pleased that she
