RM's learning software products take four awards at BETT 2005
RM plc, the UK's leading supplier of ICT and other services to education, is

in this year's BETT awards. The Group won awards in four categories: software
for English at Key Stage 1 and 2; software for Maths at Key Stage 1 and 2;
software for Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4; and supporting school management.
BETT awards are given to ICT products and services that demonstrate exceptional
technical quality and educational appropriateness. This year more than 300
products were nominated in the 13 categories; the winners were voted for by a
panel of expert judges from a shortlist of 42 products. BETT awards are
supported by Becta, the government agency with responsibility for developing the
use of ICT in schools.
Commenting on RM's BETT award success, Tim Pearson, CEO of RM, said:
'I'm delighted that our commitment to educational and technical excellence has
been recognised in the BETT awards. We work closely with our customers to
develop products that help teachers to teach and learners to learn; it's this
partnership that allows us to create products and services that genuinely meet
classroom needs.'
