RM selected to provide IT services to three Hertfordshire schools
RM has been chosen to provide managed ICT services for three schools as part of Hertfordshire County Council's £80 million schools build scheme. RM will provide the services as part of the Balfour Beatty consortium, which has been appointed preferred bidder for the project. The project is expected to be worth up to £6.8m to RM, over five years.
RM will provide a sophisticated managed service, including in-school systems and networking, to the three schools. The contract also includes the option for Hertfordshire Local Authority to adopt elements of the service in schools and libraries across the County.
Terry Sweeney, Chief Executive of RM, said:
"We have worked with schools and educators in Hertfordshire for many years and we're pleased that they have chosen us for their schools. I'm confident that we can provide an excellent IT service for the three schools involved, and look forward to continuing our activities with other education establishments in the County."
