ROBERT WALTERS PLC
('Robert Walters' or 'the Company')
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING TRADING STATEMENT
At the Robert Walters Annual General Meeting to be held today, Timothy Barker,
Chairman, will make the following statement:
'I am pleased to announce that during the first four months of 2007 market
conditions remained favourable with a continuing global shortage of qualified
professional people.
Net fee income for the first four months of the year was 17% above that achieved
in the same period in 2006. This positive start to the year gives us confidence
in achieving an outcome in line with current market expectations.
The Company continues to purchase shares in line with its share buy back
programme.
Finally, as announced with the preliminary results I am standing down as
Chairman and will be succeeded by Philip Aiken. It is the intention of the
Board to appoint an additional Non-executive Director in the near future.'
