Robert Walters Plc
AGM Statement
Mr Timothy Barker, Chairman, Robert Walters plc speaking at today's Annual
General meeting said:
'In my statement accompanying the Annual Report and Accounts I said that the
outlook for the first quarter remained uncertain and that we believed that net
fee income for the first three months would fall somewhat below the level
achieved in 2002. In the event net fee income for the first four months of 2003
was around 6% below that achieved for the same period in 2002.
'Although business in Australia is holding up well, conditions elsewhere appear
to be increasingly difficult and we are managing the business accordingly.'
